Musical in 2 Hours: ALADDIN [04/19]
6:00pm - 8:00pm Tuesday April 15th at Mothers Meadow in Golden Gate Park. (Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, San Francisco CA)
Priority Registration for $35 (and preferred casting placement) ends on FRIDAY APRIL 11th.
Half Musical Theater Skills Class // Half Broadway-Style Rehearsal. Ends with small group performances for one another. All skill levels are encouraged to join - we have different scenes with varying levels of difficulty and solo singing is entirely optional! We love have people of all different levels because we need ensemble members and soloists - and we’ll teach you the music! This session, we’ll be rehearsing scenes from ALADDIN in Golden Gate Park.
🎶 IN THIS CLASS, YOU’LL:
Grow your musical theater chops through high energy group musical theater warmups, games and exercises.
Collaborate in small groups to learn and rehearse the most important moments from Wicked — including short scenes, simple choreography, and vocal parts.
Receive coaching and direction on your solo songs or ensemble numbers from musical theater coaches (while having a lot of fun).
🌸 WHAT TO BRING: Remember to bring a water bottle, layers (you all know how the weather can change in this city), comfortable shoes/clothes for movement, and an openness to meeting and collaborating with new people ☺️.
Scenes We’ll Cover: Arabian Nights, A Whole New World, One Jump Ahead, Friend Like Me, These Palace Walls, Prince Ali. (All the Broadway Cast Version)
